From land use planning and grant writing to workforce development and cutting-edge geographic information systems, Regional Commissions offer expertise in many different service areas. Generally, Regional Commission staff is thought of as an extension of local government, supporting elected officials and their staff with day-to-day operations in a wide array of service areas.
