On behalf of the Georgia Association of Regional Commissions (GARC), we cordially invite you to the 22nd Annual GARC Training Conference. The Conference will be held at the King and Prince Resort on St. Simons Island, November 2-4, 2022, with registration beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2nd.
Our conference presents a great opportunity to network with peers, share best practices and learn from practical workshops and sessions led by state leadership and subject matter experts. The past two years have challenged us all, and the conference provides a platform to connect, collaborate and learn together.
New to the conference this year is an opening session on Wednesday, November 2nd at 5:00pm. Dr. Howard Wasdin, former SEAL Team Six Member and New York Times bestselling author will provide the keynote address. Be sure and make your travel plans so you arrive in plenty of time to hear Dr. Wasdin’s remarkable story. You will not want to miss this opportunity!
The fee for this year’s Conference will be $320 per person, which includes drink tickets for the opening reception on Wednesday evening; breakfast and lunch on Thursday; and breakfast on Friday morning. Spouse/guest registration is available for $125 per person, which includes all of the aforementioned meals and reception.
Please return the completed registration form (Attendee Registration Form, Exhibitor Sponsor Registration Form) with your registration fee to: Middle Georgia Regional Commission, 175 Emery Hwy, STE C, Macon, GA 31217. Make your check payable to: Georgia Association of Regional Commissions.
A block of hotel rooms is set aside at the King and Prince Resort. Reservations may be made by calling (912) 638-8631 and mentioning the GARC Annual Training Conference for the discounted room rate of $203.
The GARC represents all 12 of Georgia’s Regional Commissions. We will have a statewide audience of approximately 250 attendees, which will include a large contingency of RC council members from across the state (primarily local elected officials), RC staff, staff from various state agencies, and many other community and corporate leaders interested in state and regional development and planning.
Your participation is very important to us, and we hope you will be able to join your many friends at our GARC Annual Training Conference this fall. [/su_column][su_column size=”1/3″ center=”no” class=””]
